Katrine Faber. - (Let Us Sing Your Place.) - (Tales From The Trash)

Katrine Faber is an actress, singer, performer, storyteller, composer, sound artist, director.

She is the founder and artistic leader of Teater Viva from 2007.

Teater Viva makes theater performances, concerts, art and sound installations,

community projects and workshops in Denmark and abroad.

Faber is educated as an actress at Istituto Di Arte Scenica, Italy. 1989-92.

She is educated and trained as a graduate singer and voice pedagogue at Roy Hart Theatre in France from 1997 -2004

and at Nadine George; International Voice Studio in England from 2004- 2011.

She is also an graduate psychotherapist specializing in voice, sound, body, expression and inner images.

Katrine has travelled the south of Europe, Central Asia, Tuva, the Himalayas, Central America,

Scandinavia, Iceland and Greenland

with theatre, concerts and cultural exchange projects.

Faber has created the international cross art project Singing Our Place,

which is exploring the relation between nature, humans, sound and singing and our common future.

In 2015- 2018 the project worked in DK, Greenland and Iceland.

Katrine is the artistic director and curator of Singing Our Place Festival 2019.
