Xanthe Gresham Knight ( UK ) - (Go to the performance)
Xanthe Gresham Knight has been a performance storyteller of international renown for 25 years.
Xanthe trained at Oxford University and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
As a performance storyteller she has toured theatres and arts venues in South America,
New Zealand, America, Russia, India and all over Europe.
She has created 9 different shows about Goddesses funded by the Arts Council of England.
She was Senior Lecturer in Drama and Storytelling at the University of East London,
Storyteller in Residence for Harvard University, Psychologies Magazine, The Chelsea Physic Garden
and Stoke and Staffordshire Libraries and story educator for the Tate Britain.
She has been a core storyteller for the British Museum for 25 years
and has received major honorariums to perform the Persian epics of Nizami
and Firdawsi at The Smithsonian, Washington for the last 11 years.
She has published 4 books for children and is a freelance writer and storyteller in residence for Psychologies Magazine.
She was also Storyteller in Residence for Harvard University, The Chelsea Physic Garden and Stoke and Staffordshire Libraries.
She was a Part-time Senior Lecturer in Drama and Storytelling at the University of East London for 15 years.
